Day camp with the Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan has all of the fun of overnight camp, but you can be home for dinner every night! A wide variety of programs are offered across the Council for girls in grades k-8. Become a scientific explorer in your home town, put on a fashion show that you direct, or make your own slip and slide down the big hill at the Kalamazoo Regional Center! Day camp is always fun, and a great first step for younger campers who might not want to spend all week away from home.
Every week at Day Camp includes a field trip (destination depends on camp session), and girls will earn a fun patch!
Day camp isn't just for younger girls! Any girl who has earned the Program Aide Award (or will earn it in June during one of our camp sessions) can put those leadership skills to work at Day Camp! Check out the Day Camp Guide for more information.
